FOR STAND OPERATORS

Seller Terms

These seller terms supplement the Terms of Use for anyone who creates or operates a stand.

Effective August 26, 2026

You run the stand

You—not OPENSTAND—are the seller of record and are solely responsible for products, claims, pricing, availability, packaging, labeling, storage, pickup, customer service, refunds, taxes, insurance, and the conduct of anyone operating your stand.

Licenses, food rules, and taxes

You must identify and follow every law applicable to your location and products, including cottage-food rules, health and agriculture requirements, business licenses, zoning or property restrictions, sales-tax obligations, age restrictions, recalls, and required disclosures. OPENSTAND does not determine whether a product is legal to sell.

Accurate listings

Descriptions, photos, ingredients, allergens, quantities, pricing, hours, pickup instructions, and availability must be current and not misleading. Do not make unsupported health, safety, origin, environmental, or performance claims.

Food and product safety

Use appropriate sanitation, temperature control, packaging, allergen disclosure, traceability, storage, and recall practices. Immediately close or remove any listing that may be unsafe, contaminated, damaged, expired, recalled, or materially different from its description.

Payments and refunds

You control and are responsible for your payment account, fees, chargebacks, receipts, refunds, and payment-provider compliance. Never request passwords, card numbers, or security codes through OPENSTAND messages or pickup notes.

Location and pickup

Only list a location you are authorized to use. Choose privacy settings thoughtfully, provide safe and accurate instructions, respect neighbors and property rules, and avoid unsafe unattended pickup practices.

Our enforcement

We may hide products, close a storefront, preserve records, or restrict seller access when we reasonably believe there is a safety issue, legal concern, fraud risk, repeated nonfulfillment, or material violation of these terms.
